We are so excited and have planned a variety of amazing weekly themes this summer.

The teen studio assistants in the DIY shop will not be able to help you with specific registration questions.
We handle the registration for the instruction side and DIY side separately.
They can answer general questions, please be kind to them:)

The online registration is automatic and is always up to date by the minute for openings.

Creative Fun Workshop Series:
​
​
Weekly themed groups (M-F 9:00 am-3:00pm) that focus on creativity, learning, exploring and fun! Daily age appropriate art instruction, projects, games & free pm creative exploration time. Artists pack a lunch.
​
Mini Creative Fun Workshop Series:
​
Specific weekly themed groups for rising K-3rd graders (M-F 9:00 am-12:00pm) that focus on creativity, learning, exploring and fun! Daily age appropriate art instruction, projects, games & creative exploration time. No lunch-time.
​

Artist Workshop Series:
​
A special select set of art groups throughout the summer that focus on specific style, media or techniques. Designed for the artist that wants to advance their skills on a particular subject or media. Artist series will be various lengths, times and session depending on the skill & media. Registration will be separate from Creative Fun art weeks.

Summer Pop Up Art Events:

We are planning some fun summer pop up art events & workshops on select dates for all ages. Subscribe to our email list, follow us on social media to stay up-to-date on any fun summer pop ups. Registration will be separate from Creative Fun art weeks.

Workshops are drop off only unless noted "parent & me".

Creative Workshop Session artists must be rising Kindergarteners in the fall (no exceptions). We will have designated preschool aged art offerings/special events this summer.

Full Day Creative Workshops run from 9-3pm M-F
​

Mini Creative Art Workshop run from 9-12pm M-F (select weeks for younger artists)
​

Artist Series Workshops & Pop Up Workshops will have a different schedule. They will be offered different times of the day/evening (1-3 days) depending on workshop.
​

Bring water bottle & nut-free snack each day. (Full & half-day)
-
Full day artists bring a bag lunch in addition to a small snack for break time.
​

Dress comfortably in “play clothes” sometimes we get a little colorful.
​

All Weekly artists (full & half day) will receive a 2024 A&S t-shirt.
​

PLEASE NO FLIP FLOPS. Sandals & crocs are acceptable, as long as they have a back strap and your child can run safely for any outdoor games. Sneakers may be kept in studio for the week to change into if desired.

Cell phones are permitted in studio. Art & Soul is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damage to cell phones.

Please do not allow your child to bring any personal art materials or toys.

If your child doesn't like crafting or art, this program is not a good fit. It's a lot of creative fun, but if they don't like crafting its a long day for them.

SUMMER WORKSHOP POLICIES:

Upon signing up for A&S Summer Workshops you agree to the following:

Workshop hours are as posted for designated weeks. (9-12, 10-3, 10-1, 9-3) We do not offer early drop off or aftercare. Any early drop off or late pickups are subject to fees. If there is an emergency, please just call to let artist instructor know.
​

All NON"parent & me" group artists must be attending Kindergarten in the upcoming 2024 Fall School year.
​

Artists must be able to use the bathroom independently.
​
-
Please be courteous, and do not bring your child to the studio if he or she is running a fever, has thrown up due to illness, or has any contagious illness.
​
-
We are a NUT FREE studio. Please NO peanuts, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts (Nutella), cashews, pistachios, brazil nuts, or nuts of any kind. This includes nut butters and nut milks. (sun butter is okay:)
​

Artist attending A&S must be respectful of the studio, artist instructors, artist volunteers, classmates, and our time together.
​

If your child has any special needs that need to be addressed, please reach out to us via email before your summer week or registration. We are inclusive of all artists, but need to make sure A&S studio is equipped to keep your child (and all others) safe and engaged. We also want to make sure our artist instructors are prepared for any accommodations ahead of time. It's to make sure the week runs smoothly & safely for all artists and instructors. We are not a school and do not have resource teachers or trained assistants for artists. We are happy to make accommodations and work with families.

One registration per each artist for t-shirt order & discounts to apply correctly:) Do not put siblings on one registration please.

Submit your registration & 50% deposit or full payment to reserve your spot.

You will receive an auto confirmation email for your registration. ​

You will receive a reminder email and any extra details the weekend before your week starts. All important info is on this summer page.

PAYMENT:

You may pay in FULL or make a 50% deposit (of your total) before MAY 20th. A 50% Deposit or full payment is due upon registration.
​

After May 20th all registrations are due in FULL.
​

If paying in FULL : Use any option: Online credit card, cash, check, in-studio credit card, Venmo or PP. Please always note artist(s) name in memo. If paying in person, ask register attendant to add your child's name(s) to memo.
​

If paying a 50% deposit: Please select "off line payment" option at check out. Make a 50% deposit via PayPal, Venmo, Cash, Check, or CC in the DIY studio. Please note artist(s) name in memo. If paying in person, ask register attendant to add your child's name(s) to memo. The remaining 50% is due on or before May 20th.

Discounts are applied at check out.

Multiple Week Discount: If your artist attends more than one week of summer art you will receive a $15 discount on each additional week. (1st week full price) Check Out Codes: 2WEEKS, 3WEEKS, 4WEEKS, 5WEEKS, 6WEEKS.

Family Discount: If you have 2 (or more) children in summer art, your second (and each additional) registration will receive 10% off total. Will be applied to all session weeks. Check Out Code: FAMILY . First child is full price. First child can use multiple week discounts if applicable. ​

Summer Pop up Art workshops and artist series will have their own pricing & discounts.

One Discount code per registration.

CANCELATIONS/MISSED DAYS:
​
-
No refunds or credits will be issued for missed days/hours/weeks due to illness, doctor appointments, other activities or last- minute family plans. We do not offer make-up sessions.
​

Cancellations made before May 20 may receive a refund minus a $25 cancelation/admin fee.
​
-
Registrations made after May 20 are NONREFUNDABLE. You may transfer to another artist (who meets age requirements) to take your reserved seat.
​

We MAY be able to transfer your registration to another week IF there is space in new week and if is a minimum of 2 weeks (14 days) BEFORE your original week start date you are wanting to leave. This is case by case depending on open seats. Must be a 2-week notice to transfer.

A Week Focused on Fun & Creativity!
BIRDS OF A FEATHER
Half Day

Rising 2024 K-3rd Grade
Birds of a feather...stick together! Join other art loving kiddos in this colorful AM mini creative fun series all about birds. We will read stories, play games and make art all related to these majestic little feathered critters. From large birds & small birds to ones that fly and ones that don't... we will stay busy with all our feathered friends. Week includes art, stories and themed related games and sensory activities.
No lunchtime.

*Same theme as the little guys above, but more advanced techniques, longer working time & different projects in am, followed by open art studio time after lunch.

BARNYARD COLOR BASH

This week kiddos will step into the studio & down on the farm! Join us for this AM mini creative fun series week where we will creatively explore all the things you'd find on the farm. Cute textured animals, shape barn creations & colorful crops top our list along with amazing stories & sensory exploration art activities. $230
PASSION FOR FASHION
9:00 am-3:00 pm M-F
Rising 3rd-7th Grade:
This week artists will put their fashion design skills to the test with all sorts of wearable art and fun designs. We will work in both 2d and 3d. We'll generate ideas, designs & final products on things like perfume bottle design, jewelry making & custom hats. Please note, there is an extra supply fee built in for this week for specialty materials/supplies needed. $365 (+$20 supply Fee)
SUMMERTIME SWEETS
2 DAYS

Rising 2024 K-5th Grade
We will be indulging in all the summertime treats in an artful & creative way!. Join us in making all things sweet tin this special 2-day workshop. From ice-cream sundaes and drippy cones to melty pops and frosted cakes this week is promised to be sweet! A daily treat will be included. (We will work with you to make it safe for any food allergies) Please note special 1/2 day time 10-1. Artists pack a lunch for this week. $100
CAPTURE IT
Secondary: Preteen/Teen week

Rising 6th-12th Grade
This week is just for the tweens/teens. We will be exploring ways you can "capture" an image, an interesting composition or a creative marking. Join us in making art from photos, imagination & creative subject matter making. We also explore using nature and outdoor elements to capture pigment & images. Artists will have media choices and be able to use our lessons as a guide/inspiration to create artworks based on their own unique style & interests. We will draw, paint, print, collage & more! This year teen art will be back in the main studio space to allow lots of room to create. $365
ALL THE SCAPES

Rising 2nd-7th Grade
A week of all the "scapes"! Dive into a serine Seascape, travel all sorts of Landscapes and get lost in a busy colorful Cityscape this week! We will explore the amazing world and all it's places through art. We will learn about different artists and how they depict "scapes" in their own style. Art has the ability to take you anywhere and this week we plan to go lots of amazing places.
BRIGHT BUGS & COLORFUL CRITTERS

Rising 2024 K-3rd Grade
A colorful week of everyone's favorite little critters.....and maybe some that give you the creepy crawlies! We will create fun art in all styles & media. From drawing & collaging to painting & sculpting, we'll keep your little critters busy all week creating! Week includes theme related stories, games and sensory activities. $230
FLOWER POWER

Rising 2nd-7th Grade
Join us for a week focused on the color, shape & beauty of florals. We will use a variety of media (drawing, painting, collaging, sculpting) to capture flowers in realistic and abstracted artworks. We will explore different ways to see flowers of all types. We will create artworks using them as the subject mater, focal point or as the media themselves. $365
A WALK ON THE WILD SIDE

Rising 2-7th Grade
Take a creative walk on the wild side of art with us! This week will will venture artistically through the jungle, rainforest & the deep woods. Stripes, spots, scales & tails will fill our papers this week. Whether the creatures are from real-life wilderness or from our wildest imaginations....it's promised to be a great week! $365
THE GREAT "ART-DOORS"

Rising 1st-5th Grade
We are wrapping up the summer season with one of our favorite subject matters.....NATURE! We will create art that attempts to capture nature and all it's beauty. We will look at all things small and large in nature for inspiration to create. We will explore a variety of living things from animals and plants to beautiful settings and elements of nature like water & fire. $365
