We are so excited and have planned a variety of amazing weekly themes this summer.

The teen studio assistants in the DIY shop will not be able to help you with specific registration questions.
We handle the registration for the instruction side and DIY side separately.
They can answer general questions, please be kind to them:)

The online registration is automatic and is always up to date by the minute for openings.
If you're able to register, there is an opening.

Creative Fun Workshop Series:
​
​
Weekly themed groups (M-F 9:00 am-3:00pm) that focus on creativity, learning, exploring and fun! Daily age appropriate art instruction, projects, games & open studio creative exploration time. Artists pack a nut free lunch. (Four Day week week of 7/4)
​
Mini Creative Fun Workshop Series:
​
Specific weekly themed groups for rising K-3rd graders (M-F 9:00 am-12:00pm) that focus on creativity, learning, exploring and fun! Daily age appropriate art instruction, projects, games & creative exploration time. No lunch-time. Mid-morning break-please pack nut free snack.

Specialty Project Art Weeks:
​
Art groups that focus on one larger project. Each day they construct and work on pieces that add to the "whole" that will be completed by the end of the week. Special hours (please make note) for these select project groups.

Artist Workshop One Day Events
​
We are planning some fun summer one day art events & workshops on select dates for all ages. Subscribe to our email list, follow us on social media to stay up-to-date as they are released. Workshops will focus on specific styles, media, techniques or themes.
Workshops will be planed for variety of ages/groups. Pre-Adult.​​​

Creative Workshop Session artists must be rising Kindergarteners in the fall (no exceptions). We will have designated preschool aged art offerings/special events this summer.

Full Day Creative Workshops run from 9-3pm M-F (4-day week of July 4th)

Mini Creative Art Workshop run from 9-12pm M-F (select weeks for younger artists)
​

Specialty Project Workshops & Secondary level (middle/high school) will have a different schedule. Please pay close attention to schedule and art workshop times.
​

Bring water bottle & nut-free snack each day. (All groups full/half - all weeks)
​

Full day artists (9-3) bring a nut-free lunch in addition to a small snack for break time.
​

Dress comfortably in “play clothes” sometimes we get a little colorful.

All summer artists will receive a 2025 A&S t-shirt.

PLEASE NO FLIP FLOPS. Sandals & crocs are acceptable, as long as they have a back strap and your child can run safely for any outdoor games. Sneakers may be kept in studio for the week to change into if desired.

Cell phones are permitted in studio. Art & Soul is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damage to cell phones.

Please do not allow your child to bring any personal art materials or toys.

If your child doesn't like crafting or art, this program is not a good fit. It's a lot of creative fun, but if they don't like crafting its a long day for them.

SUMMER WORKSHOP POLICIES:

Upon signing up for A&S Summer Workshops you agree to the following:

Workshop hours are as posted for designated weeks. We do not offer early drop off or aftercare. Any early drop off or late pickups are subject to fees. If there is an emergency, please just call to let artist instructor know.
​

All summer artists must be attending Kindergarten in the upcoming 2025/26 Fall School year.
​

Artists must be able to use the bathroom independently.
​
-
Please be courteous. Do not bring your child to the studio if he or she is running a fever, has thrown up due to illness, or has any contagious illness.
​

We are a NUT FREE studio. Please NO peanuts, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts (Nutella), cashews, pistachios, brazil nuts, or nuts of any kind. This includes nut butters and nut milks. (sun butter is okay:)
​

Artist attending A&S should be respectful of the studio, artist instructors, artist volunteers, classmates, and our time together. If an artist is causing the studio environment to be unsafe, A&S has the right to dismiss the registration without any refund.
​

If your child has any special needs, please reach out to us via email before your summer week or registration. We are inclusive of all artists but need to make sure A&S studio is equipped and prepared to keep your child (and all others) safe and engaged during our workshops. We want to ensure our artist instructors are prepared for any accommodations ahead of time. It's to make sure the week runs smoothly & safely for all artists and instructors. We are not a school and do not have resource teachers or trained assistants for artists attending our workshops. We are happy to make accommodations and work with families.
HOW TO REGISTER:

Fill out one registration per each artist for t-shirt order & discounts to apply correctly:) Do not put siblings on one registration please.

Submit your registration & 50% deposit or full payment to reserve your spot.
​

You will receive an auto confirmation email for your registration via our registration program. Please check spam if no “ticket” or confirmation appears. The ticket is your conformation of registration. You do not need your ticket to enter art.
​

You will receive a reminder email and any extra details the weekend before your week starts. All important info is on this summer page. Reminders will be sent to the registering email provided.
​
​
PAYMENT:
​

You may pay in FULL at registration or make a 50% deposit (of your total) before MAY 23rd. A 50% Deposit or full payment is due upon registration to hold your seat.
​

After May 23rd all registrations are due in FULL.
​
-
If paying in FULL : Use any option: Online credit card, cash, check, in-studio credit card, gift card, invoice or Venmo or PP. Please always note artist(s) name in memo. If paying in person, ask register attendant to add your child's name(s) to memo.
​

If paying a 50% deposit: Please select "off line payment" option at check out. Make a 50% deposit via PayPal, Venmo, Cash, Check, or CC in the DIY studio. You may also email us to send an invoice50% or Full price to pay by credit card from home or gift card (check box at payment portion of checkout). Please note artist(s) name in memo of Venmo/PayPal or check. If paying in person, ask register attendant to add your child's name(s) to memo. The remaining 50% is due on or before May 23rdth.

Multiple Week Discount: If your artist attends more than one week of summer art you will receive a $15 discount on each additional week. (1st week full price) Check Out Codes: 2WEEKS, 3WEEKS, 4WEEKS, 5WEEKS, 6WEEKS.​​​​ (make sure to register sibling separately to receive discounts on them both)​

CANCELATIONS/MISSED DAYS:
​

No refunds or credits will be issued for missed days/hours/weeks due to illness, doctor appointments, other activities or last- minute family plans. We do not offer make-up sessions due to the nature of our business & project materials.
​

Cancellations made before May 23rd may receive a refund minus a $30 cancelation/admin fee.
​

Registrations made after May 23 are NONREFUNDABLE. You may transfer to another artist (who meets age requirements) to take your reserved seat or:
​

We MAY be able to transfer your registration to another week IF there is space in new week and if is a minimum of 2 weeks (14 days) BEFORE your original week start date you are wanting to leave. This is case by case depending on open seats. Must be a 2-week notice to transfer. If there is a wait list, we can contact waitlist artists to take spots and transfer your registration.

PAWS & CLAWS

Create fun artworks & join other art loving kiddos in this colorful AM mini creative fun series all about animals. We will read stories, play games and make art. From big cats claws to cute cuddly kittens paws! Claws found under the sea to adorable sloths hanging in the tree!
Week includes art activities, stories, themed related games and sensory activities.

Animal Kingdom

So many animals + so many art supplies = so much fun! Join us in a whole week of art based off everyone's favorite art subject, Animals! We will explore the textures, the shapes, the lines and designs in a variety of animals. We will explore many techniques and use lot of art media.

ENCHANTED FOREST

This week kiddos will step into the studio & into a magical forest or art, nature & magic. Join us for this AM mini creative fun series week where we will creatively explore all the things you'd find in an enchanted & artistic forest. Cute mushrooms, fairy/gnome garden creations & colorful unicorns top our list.
Week includes art activities, stories, themed related games and sensory activities.

TREE HOUSE CREATIONS
3-hour Specialty Project Workshop
June 23-27
12:30 pm-3:30 pm M-F
Rising (Fall 2025) 4th grade-12th Grade
This week we will push our creative ideas to the limit by designing three-dimensional treehouse sculptures. We will construct the treehouses out of a wooden base, thick tree branch centers and various found objects. Artists will create platforms, hideaways and ladders with personal textile touches. There will be touches of nature and whimsy! Artists will use low temp hot glue guns to construct certain elements.

"MARVEL"OUS ART & CREATIVE COMICS

We will be capturing our favorite Marvel characters in a artful & creative way! Join us in learning about cartooning techniques and pop art style. Some projects will include Mondrian Pop Art Skyscrapers & Cartoon Spilling Soda Can Art to two faced hero portraits.

This week we will have fun with that little naughty and adorable creature, Stitch! We explore art with a Hawaiian twist creating fun artworks like surfboard designs and sandcastles as well as bright colored Stitch portraits and more!

The art week is promised to be POP-U-LAR! This week we will create art inspired by the amazing musical Wicked and the nostalgic & classic movie, The Wizard of OZ. Join us in creating fun projects like flying monkeys, Elphaba & Ga-linda character portraits, poppy paintings and witch hat Zentangled art.

SQUISHY ARTSY APARTMENTS
3 Hour Specialty Project Workshop
July 14-18

If your squishy had an apartment, what would it look like? We will use our imagination to create playful artsy apartment sculpture for our mini squishy friends. Each artist will receive an unfinished box carrying case to design and transform into a magical squishy spot.
Each artist will receive a mini squishy to move in once the space is ready. Sculpture art is intended to promote creativity and play. Artist will be able to display or play with their sculpture upon completion.

FOCUS & FUN WITH PORTRAITS
3 Hour Specialty Secondary Level Workshop
July 14-18

This week is designed specially for the secondary artists. We will explore many different approaches, techniques and style of creating portrait art. Will will use people & animals as our subject matter. We will explore, practice and refine the use of various art medias. No prior experience necessary. All levels welcome. ​

Dive deep into the sea and your creativity this week as we create art inspired by the amazing creatures and scenery of the ocean. We will create artworks using a variety of media and techniques- sure to keep all the artists busy and engaged. Seascape sunset art, 3d squid sculptures, and coral reef creations are a few projects we have planned and more!

We will create works of iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Stature of Liberty (and many more!) using a variety of art supplies & styles.

Join us in creating art this week all inspired by the lyrics (well keep it clean and appropriate), style, symbols of the famous Pop Icon as well as general music themed vibe. This art group is designed for rising (Fall 2025) 1st-3rd graders. This group will take breaks for games and explorative free art time to create. ​​
